2.2 Rebasing
A rebase is when the supply expands or contracts. Once the rebase smart contract function is called, a rebase will occur. Positive rebases take place when the price of Dogeforth is above the target price at the time of the rebase. Negative rebases take place when the price of Dogeforth is below the target price at the time of rebase. For example, if the target price of Dogeforth is $0.30 and the current price of Dogeforth is $0.40, the rebase will be positive and the supply will expand. The goal of a rebasing token is to complement the price of its connected asset by modifying its supply. Since the functionality of rebasing tokens are designed to balance the supply to match the target price, rebasing tokens will always be a safe asset to invest in.
